Cover by: @_ViciousCupcake_ with tweaks and a sticker added by @tinhovercarinice What if Cinderella never lost a shoe? What if she never met her prince at a ball or had a fairy godmother? What if she and and her prince were just two people trying to find a way in their messed up worlds? Stephanie Coleman has a secret. She has an amazing voice that can hit any note and hold it to perfection. But when her mom died, her dreams of becoming famous died too. Now she sings secretly for her best friend Amy, and only a select group of those close to her know her secret talent. But what if a certain famous pop star decided to enroll in her school and found out her secret accidentally? Collin Jacobs is a triple platinum selling pop sensation. However, behind all the glitter and gold of fame, he's miserable, and wants to find his way back to loving what he does and not being controlled by his recording studio. So when he finds out Stephanie's talent, he convinces her to help him on his journey. What if the girl who becomes his close friend finds her way much deeper in his heart? Read on for a twist on modern fairy tales in a Hollywood world where anything can happen! This is copyrighted, and any plagiarism will NOT be excused!! This is my first book, but do note that while it may seem cliche at first, it will reveal its true nature towards the end. So, read on for a true love story with adventure, mystery, and intrigue!

In the kingdom of Vanderdash, there is no more feared warriors than that of the Scarlet Guard. Protectors of the royal family, skilled assassins trained since childhood, They follow the crown, they enforce the crown. To many, the group cloaked in red is a greater symbol of the royal family's power than the kings crown itself. Citizens respect and fear the scarlet guard, the power they hold. But within the guard there is only one who installed that very same feeling into the rest. Head of the prince's royal guard, ruthless and cunning, rarely seen by the citizens themselves. They call her Red. An expert in poisons and deception, the small girl has brought armies to their knees without once lifting a blade. A vermillion haired monster hidden behind the face of a doll. ~~ I smiled up at the men, "Would you like a cookie?" They peered into the basket I held out, spotting the heart shaped treats. "They're cinnamon with apple Jam. I do promise they are to die for." The taller mans eyes narrowed, "did you give the poor fool dead on the road a cookie?" My lips parted, "a dead man? Oh my..do you think it is safe?" "..depends on who you are miss, why did you say you were in the woods again?" I smiled gently, "I didn't." He rose a brow. "I'm delivering these," I shook the basket a bit, "to my dearest grandmama." He hesitated for only a slight second, "oh. well. be careful then. These woods can be dangerous." I nodded once still holding out the basket, "so would you?" "Would we what?" I giggle a bit, "like a cookie silly." "Ah.." he scratched the back of his head, "sorry, I'm not too fond of apples." Damn it. I sighed softly, "strawberry next time then." "Right..." As I turned to go I looked up at the two tall men, "you be careful now too gentleman. There are wolves in these woods." They nodded rigidly as I spun and began to skip off, giggling to myself. He asked the wrong question. I didn't give the dead fool a cookie. I gave him two.

Sometimes, expecting something out of someone is the worst way to connect with them. Tin Tin Amble knows this all too well, coming from a family with a father who wants him to do everything but what Tin Tin wants to do and a mother living in fear that her marriage isn't scaling up to what she expected. Not to mention two younger siblings who he feels responsible for. Pressure's on to be perfect, but he's anything other than that. In school, he's known as the High School's photographer. He carries his camera with him everywhere and is definitely in the "in" crowd. Then the phrase "Do it, you won't!" is directed at him in particular and he snaps. In desperation to prove himself once and for all, he gives in to prank a girl, also in his Junior class, named Alivia. Little did he know that the prank was all part of God's plan for something more worth while than trying to prove who he is to a bunch of kids. {Started: 11.2.15 Finished: 3.31.16 } (PC: andrewling || Instagram)
