Frank was the new kid, the new American kid, in a British boarding school and that wasn't the hardest part. Frank wished that was the hardest part. Being the new kid was easy, but being assigned to the room of the most infamous boy in the school - who would hate you purely for existing - is a lot harder. British Private Boarding school was something Frank was just not prepared for. He didn't realise he was going to live with an OCD psycho doting after a dead person. But he had one simple rule which would make everything a little easier, or more would stop it being even harder. Just don't befriend Gerard Way. One rule; but is it easy to follow? That's what Frank was to find out.

"He thinks I have stigmata," Frank said, because what the fucking hell, it couldn't get any worse. He might as well just lay it out. "Oh, well," said Brian into his hands. "Of course." ~ I did not write this story. All credit goes to the author, Bexless on Archive Of Our Own. Link to the original story: http://archiveofourown.org/series/9795

The Pocket Universe Effect - the feeling that nothing else outside your little bubble of reality can quite matter at all. One am on a Friday in June, admist quiet neighbourhoods of New Jersey, the Ieros are away on a night out and Frank and Gerard are sprawled out across Gerard's green anorak, without the capacity to care about anything other than the night sky and the way the stars reflect in each other's eyes.

They were murdered, they were attacked and now they're dead. That's all Frank knows about his parents - gone before he'd even had chance to miss them, and it was fucking with his head. The police reckoned that moving away, to rural New Jersey with his grandparents would help him cope with the loss, but even Frank knew that they couldn't be more than wrong, because despite the dull sleepy atmosphere of the town, there was something unidentifiable yet impossibly unnerving about the place, and really, perhaps was safer in his parents home than he ever was here. And there's something physically wrong too - a figure that lurks in the smoke, fog, and shadows - a silhouette the deepest black he'd ever seen, the kind that brought an unsettling feeling to Frank's stomach, and really Frank's wasn't one to be overly twitchy about things like this, but from the moment he first met him, he could never shake the feeling that the figure was always following him. And perhaps, he was. (Vampire!Gerard)

It's 2018 and people think that the apocalypse has ended. Where cities, homes, businesses and humble towns once stood, now there lies only death, only destruction, only emptiness. Only the moans and the shuffles of the living dead. But in reality, it's only just begun. And for two lonely boys, once separated from each other by dead-town states and not even aware of each other's existence, it's far from being over. It's not about saving the world. It's about saving themselves. ----------------------------------

That feel when you read one book and end up accidentally killing your girlfriend as a result of it. See, Frank knew reading was bad for you, although it was probably inappropriate to walk up to your girlfriend's dead body and say 'I told you so'. It was quite honestly an accident though, like Frank really did not mean to set fire to the girls' dorms, and end up killing four students as a result of it, then again, Frank really shouldn't have picked up a book entitled 'Standardised Spellbook 1989-1994' and thought that it would be a good idea to try out some of the 'spells' inside the thing, however it had just so happened that Frank was both a skeptic and an idiot, and that was easily a recipe for disaster. There was of course also the rather unavoidable fact that he was indeed a witch, however Frank still had trouble coming to terms with what he'd done to his girlfriend, let alone how it could have happened. However, thank god, or well, a certain psychic by the name of Ray Toro, that he wasn't alone in this, because Ray knew the moment he set eyes upon the boy, that Frank was so undeniably involved with the fire, but Ray's powers weren't quite strong enough to figure out as to how. The actual discovering of the aforementioned 'how' was left to the Way brothers, your local campus vampires and supernatural experts, well, Mikey was an expert, Gerard just kind of sat there, being the least vampiric vampire in existance - he was a vegan, for god's sake! But it was indeed Gerard, not Mikey, that looked once at the nineteen year old and relayed him his whole life story. How Gerard had managed that, well, not even Gerard himself knew that, but he did know that he had to try his best to help poor Frank Iero bring his girlfriend back from the dead, no matter how little luck in that it seemed as if they would have.
