"i am the girl they name hurricanes after because my brain was never wired to be calm." // this is a book of firsts. it's the words that have been stuck in my head since the first time i realized that the world is kind of messy, and things happen for reasons i can't quite understand. it's for the ones who broke my heart when i least expected it, and for the ones that didn't leave me in the dust when i swore i deserved it. it's for the time when i started questioning what i thought i knew about the universe. it's for the cautious explorations of the gray areas of right and wrong. it's for that sleepless night that started it all when an entire spectrum of emotions was taking over my bloodstream and i felt like i couldn't rest until i wrote it all out. Love to read but don't always have time to finish a long story? Here's a series of five minute Sci Fi stories to read anywhere and anytime. These are bite sized pieces meant to entertain you but they are based on real science and are also meant to make you think about how we use our scientific knowledge to change ourselves and the universe around us. I published this collection on Amazon in August 2017. That means I can only keep a few of these stories up on Wattpad. I will rotate through them each week and will be adding new stories regularly. You can find the full collection on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074DTTGN6/ref=la_B074DXQ8BQ_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1501504236&sr=1-1 Thanks so much for reading!

Julie Adamson knew that her uncle was going to die. She saw the car hit the tree before it happened. Only, at age five, she didn't understand what the premonition meant. Not until it was too late, at least. Since that day, Julie has never been the same. The only constants that she had growing up were the never ending line of therapists, and her drunk mother. Julie knows how her mother will die too. She has seen it. Only, there is no preventing the deaths, as death will always find a way to claim it's victims. Up until age seventeen, Julie had thought that she was the only one in possession of her horrifying ability. But that all changes when she sees a boy staring blankly at a hit-and-run victim, almost as if he knew that it was going to happen...
