Finding out that said best friend is now a complete jerk who's determined to make your life hell? Not so much." Georgie and Connor were once inseparable. Was published, but is now off the market--I'm sorry! Brianne is the opposite of her best friend, Kyla. Kyla is open-minded; Brianne is closed off, judgmental. Kyla is a hopeless romantic. Brianne? Not so much. So when Kyla shoves an apple into her face telling her to throw it across the cafeteria so she can find her future love, Brianne is anything but interested. And yet she throws the apple anyway. Who does the apple hit? Dannon Barone, the most popular boy in school. Though he's seemingly sweet and all-smiles, Brianne dislikes him. She thinks he's a fake, a fraud, someone who is just charming the crowds in order to gain popularity. But Brianne is about to learn that stereotypes are not true, and that she's been too quick to judge those around her. Brianne Nichols' life is about to change forever. And what does she have to thank for it? A bruised piece of fruit. Who would have known that a stupid apple could be right? | technically not part of the summary | Okay, so I know the prenote says to find any errors you can. Just letting you know there's no point to that anymore because I've reedited it two more times after this one (extensively so), and already sent it in to be self-published. The only reason that the prenote is still up is because a fan made an amusing slideshow and if I edit anything then the tags for the wattys will be gone and I'll no longer be entered , hahah!

[COMPLETED] WARNING: I wrote this when I was in high school, which was about seven/eight years ago. That reflects so much in the writing of this book. Best friends Ellie Nichols and Colton Davis were inseparable all their lives. They stuck by each other throughout middle school and high school, all the way until they were accepted into separate colleges. Colton was offered a full scholarship for football while Ellie wanted to stay closer to home at a smaller community college. They had promised to stay in touch, but all promises are made to be broken. They lose contact and the only way Ellie sees her best friend anymore is watching him play on t.v. But all of that changes when Ellie's counselor gives her a big surprise, a letter of acceptance to the same school where Colton plays football. But with Ellie the teams athletic trainer, will it bring her closer to her best friend, or will something come between them? #15 Teen Fiction 9/23/2015

Some say the being different is special and that difference is what makes us human. Like all those cheesy quotes people hang on their walls: Being different is important! Treasure who you are! Not here. Here the people are like cardboard all the same and boring. Standing out is dangerous. Unfortunately I'm one of those people. Every day I live in fear; wondering if I will be noticed, hoping that my abnormalism won't be noticed. I live in a city with my family who know I'm different. Everyday we have too cover me up and coach me for different conversations. One slip up and I'm dead. Normal people are born with these skills however the abnormals have to learn them. I have heard that normal people believe abnormalism is a disease, that we are infected with it at birth. They believe that is why we are different, but I can tell you that is not the case. In someways the abnormals are the normal people.
