Nemoraziel
Seventeen-year-old Lyra Thorne is already drowning in grief and guilt when she does the one heroic thing she can't afford: she saves a stranger's life-right in the middle of Death's carefully balanced design. Death doesn't take it personally; he takes it professionally, and hands her a scythe with a simple verdict: if she thinks she knows better, she can do the job herself. Thrown into bizarre cases no other reaper will touch, Lyra has to hunt down souls that don't fit any category, all while pretending she's still a normal girl with a normal life. The problem is, Death is calm, ancient, and dangerously curious about her... and working with his scythe isn't exactly an easy task. Between dark humor, supernatural horror, and a slow-burn tension neither of them knows how to name, Lyra discovers that the afterlife has rules-until she breaks them.
