This is as story about two polar opposites who mange to have a string of first times together, and maybe even a cute love story. Dan Howell was the typical spoiled, rich boy with butlers driving him to operas and maids making him nachos for breakfast. Phil Lester, however, was the opposite. Barely any money and deadbeat parents, he lives in a bad neighborhood in a gross apartment with cat hair covering the carpet and an odd roommate. And then Dan's parents decide he needs to love someone rather than himself, and when Phil shows up at his mansion steps, Dan's parents grow fond of him- so much that the two are exchanging rings and Phil is moving in with his new spouse. They tell Dan he should give it a few months, to be patient, and if he still doesn't like him then they'll sign the divorce papers and call it quits. Marriage isn't perfect, right? Well this one is the exact example. But they could always pretend.

Sequel to Black and Blue (read that first!) Dan struggles to get back on his feet after everything that's happened. Phil seems distant, and it causes problems in their relationship that Dan isn't sure he can handle.

Dan is the senior that everyone looks up to, he is charming, witty and sometimes even nice. Phil is the sophomore that is constantly being bullied for being who he his, a boy who likes boys. Roles seem to switch when Dan saves Phil's life, and finds himself falling for the younger boy. Dan is the new target for torment and beatings. But unlike Phil, Dan doesn't handle it very well, and finds himself spiraling downhill, with what seems like no way back to the top.

Dan Howell, a 26 year old protagonist and sometimes video blogger, lost his best friend Phil Lester, a 30 year old child at heart, to the ways of family and love. Phil adores spending time with 28 year old Milly Langdon and so decides on keeping it that way. Dan doesn't enjoy Milly's company so Phil decides it's best if he just moves on. Every day after that, Dan regrets ever opening his mouth. Will Phil ever realise what he truly left behind? (This is set in the future, that's why their ages aren't their real ages oh)

It's July 28th, 2012. Dan has gotten into one of the worst and most regrettable fights in his life with Phil, his best friend. This argument is in every way his fault but, in his defense he's just confused and scared of what will happen in the future. Dan barely knows who he is, so who can blame him? He will soon figure out just how wrong his assumption s are when he makes a wish that sends him on a journey to the early year of 2016.
