We can never outrun our past and Evangeline is not the exception. With the looming threat to her packs, both old and new, fate had dragged her back to where she ran from. Perhaps this was a second chance, but with the past and present colliding, things are bound to get complicated. However, meeting her old pack is the least of her problems now.
