ASHLEIGH "Alex, you don't understand," I said with tears in my eyes, "I really like you." Well I've had a pretty hectic life... I guess it all started when i was 8 but I guess it kinda picked up when I turned 13.... You see there was this guy, Alex. I met him when I had just turned 8 at a birthday party. We were partnered up in a game... we talked and played, then he said, "I love you"... I laughed thinking he was insane so we ended up making a promise to each other that we'd day when we were older but over the years I never forgot what he said... we went to different junior schools but when I was starting at Maplewood Highschool, so was he... and I hadn't seen him in forever. Something about him just made me burst inside... when he said hi... his smile...his hair... he looked.. amazing. I remembered what he said to me as kids and for some weird reason... I wanted him to say it again... but the problem is... I think every girl wanted to hear it. ************************************************* ok guys, so this story starts as Ashleigh (the girl) meeting Alex (the guy) at the birthday party as 8 year olds. As the book progresses, you'll get to seeing them in highschool as 13 year olds, then eventually 16 year olds. p.s. after every chapter, tell me what you think so I know which way to go in the story :3 thanks :) :)

Jane Trevors was the tomboy of her town. In kindergarden she was the first one to climb up to the top of the play ground structure. In sixth grade she beat up a boy who had a crush on her. After that no boy had a crush on her again, or told a soul if they did. In seventh grade she joined the boys lacrosse team. Even though her mother was very against it, she went ahead anyways. To her fathers pride she became one of the countries best lacrosse players. When her father moves her and her family across the country to the top lacrosse high school school. She finds out that her new school is a posh school with stuck up bitches and jerks. All she wants to do is play lacrosse. But what happens when her team as well as more than half of the schools boys are trying to get her attention. What if five of them want her so bad they are willing to give up anything to be with her.
