I stared up at his dark eyes as they intently stared back. "Let go of me." "Why?" I tried to pull away and failed miserably. His grip was just too tight around my waist. "I said let go!" I screamed at him clenching my jaw. My frustration seemed to amuse him. "Stop being such a freaking prude Ash." He chuckled with a smirk. He leaned in closer just inches away from my ear. After his mother left the family, everything fell apart. Soon enough Gage and Kellen sunk Beckett so far under his own control, abusing him with drugs and stealing every opportunity he ever had in his hands. Beckett was at a gaunt part of his life. He wasn't as weak as others thought, he fought for what he loved and was deeply avid to go anywhere away from the pain. And soon enough, Niobe and Beckett found each other.
