Francesca 'Frankie' Erikson is an aspiring young actress who is looking for her first big break. She had had little parts in films, meeting and establishing working relationships with other actors and actresses, but nothing that has sent her into stardom. It isn't long before she gets a call from Jackson Pieters, a director offering her an audition for a part as the lead in a new TV show he created. She of course doesn't hesitate to meet up with him, and puts on her best performance yet. When he offers her the part, she immediately takes the job.
