I never knew that everyone could miss me so much. I don't think I deserve it to be honest. After all the times that I've fainted and caused everyone so much grief, I wouldn't think that people would actually care for me... But even if it has only been 3 months, the Shadow Lord never rested. His continued to grow, and grow, and grow. And now he's started to take action.

Emma Foster has always felt like she belonged in a different time period. Through high school she never had any friends and spent all of her time reading historical literature. One day her mother decides Emma would be better off spending the summer with her grandmother, whom she has not seen since the disappearance of her father. At her grandmother's, Emma will discover her true past and the powers she really has. Very few others have her ability, the ability to travel through time. As she learns how to control her powers, she meets an Irish farm boy and discovers just how hard it is to have a long distance relationship. But time can be tricky and hard to control. One wrong move and the entire future could be changed for better or for worse. And with the government controlling her and other Travelers after her, Emma will have to make tough decisions if she wants to keep both herself and her loved ones alive.

A girl who has no recollection of her past, only her name, wakes up in a bed with a guard dressed in full armour named Garroth. After settling in the town known as "Phoenix Drop", she then proceeds to explore and help people in any way she can, but ends up getting involved in more action and drama then she had hoped for.
