Martha was the heir to the throne, but only if she could marry. The man she loved was the son of a disgraced king--a man her father would never approve. Forced into a world of dances, parties, ball gowns, and suitors, all Martha wants is a choice in her marriage. After falling for a dashing prince of a neighboring kingdom and almost forgetting the prince of her fantasies, her father falls ill and dies. Martha is left at the helm of a sinking nation with only her elderly, mourning mother at her side. But there's also the prince--the one her father approved of, and the exiled one in her mind. Will love steal her heart and blind her eyes? Martha doesn't know who to trust--a prince of disgrace who once held her heart, or the charming prince of her father's approval.
