The Obsidian Key is no ordinary tale like others. The dashing red hair twenty-three-year-old Ria Shay who lives in the twenty first century gets cheated on by her husband one night when she walked home. In the past, she had to leave her father because of this little theory he had about the this Key made of obsidian he had found and how it was able to travel through time by using water... she doesn't believe him. Until one little mistake after taking the key has her carried into time. Finally she finds herself in 1715, snatched up by pirates in The Golden Age of Piracy. Now her only hope is to unlock the secrets of the Obsidian Room with the other two keys that she must find. Along the way meeting actual famous pirates, making new friend -and enemies- and living the life of adventure full of sailing the seas, death, gold, and... even rum. Can Ria make her way back home?
