For centuries, the world has been plagued by endless wars, a cycle of bloodshed and destruction. Billions perished, their lives meaningless to the world. Empires rose and fell, their banners torn apart in the chaos of conflict, as humanity wielded its greatest achievements not for progress, but for war. Innovation became a tool of violence, creating weapons of unimaginable power, only to see them turned against the very civilizations that created them. Amid the chaos, one nation stood apart, a beacon of hope and technological supremacy: the Imperial Federation of Alnania. Forged by centuries of unrelenting conflict, the Federation rose to become the world's mightiest superpower. Its people, hardened by history, embraced a singular philosophy, "Progress through Unity, and Peace through Dominance". The Federation was now getting ready for its most recent campaign, the invasion of the Republic of Volkov. An attractive opportunity was offered by the Republic's fragility, which was plagued by internal insurrection and administrative collapse. For at the end of this, they shall impose a new world order. True peace, they believed, could only be achieved through the Federation's iron hand. But as the Federation stood ready to strike, the impossible happened. In a flash of light that defied reason, the entire nation was transported to a strange new world. A realm of of magic, and mythical creatures. Filled with empires and nations with their own ambitions. Faced with this mysterious new world, the Imperial Federation saw not despair, but opportunity. Armed with their technological might and indomitable spirit, they prepared to forge a new destiny. The chaos of this world would be molded into order, and the Federation would bring progress, unity, and peace- on their terms. A New Dawn to Conquer has arrived. "A fanfiction story inspired by みのろう's Summoning Japan, but in this version, the New World is far more dangerous and far more different-than the one we know."

The year is 2030. The United States of America is enjoying a relative peace time. While there are still tensions around the world, the U.S. has managed to avoid any major conflicts. That was until a mysterious medieval-looking structure appeared out of nowhere in the middle of Washington D.C. Suddenly, the nation's capital is under attack by a medieval-style army and creatures only seen in fantasy stories. This mysterious army, however, soon realizes that they stepped on the dragon's tail. This story is based off the anime/manga series, Gate, but follows a different storyline and characters. I do not own Gate, but the story and characters in this story are mine.

"Our government does not copy our neighbors', but is an example to them" -Pericles, addressing the masses of Athenians gathered before him on the democratic nature of their governance. Ever since the fall of Soviet Union in the Christmas of 1991, the United States of America has enjoyed total supremacy throughout the globe. Trade and her economy had been flourishing. Her military might seemed unchallenged, the world's enforcer, a Dirty Harry-like armed forces intent on keeping the wolves at bay. However, with the attacks and blemishes on the very identity of America in the likes of the September 11 attacks, the dubious Invasion of Iraq and the draining insurgency afterwards, the quagmire of Afghanistan and her eventual pull-out that mirrors the likes of Saigon Evacuation, the rise of the Red Dragon, the very ideas of Pax Americana had been tainted by her own misguided intent. What was once a revered country built upon the ideas of hope, freedom and liberty, had already began to show cracks across her supremacy in the face of unending quagmires of the 21st century. But the very ideas of which America had prided herself upon will endure the test of times, but this time, in a world alien to her own. In a strange event that would be immortalized in the annals of American history as the New Year Event, the United States of America forever disappeared from the face of the Earth, instead finding herself in a world of fantasy and wonder. In a world darkened by warring factions and atrocities, let it be the light of the ideas of which America had built herself upon be the sole shining beacon. Loosely based on Nihonkoku Shoukan (Summoning Japan). Will also be posted on Royalroad. A soft-rewrite, or a spiritual successor if you may, to many of the older American isekai fanfictions. WARNING: Will contain gore, sensitive topics, sexual descriptions, and many others deemed vulgar. A more grounded, realistic take on nation isekai.
