The strange thing about people is that at the sight of them, you don’t think too much about them. They simply appear normal and unimportant; just merely walking, or waiting for the bus, or doing grocery shopping – nothing else beyond the plain verb – maybe not even worth a second thought. People are very much like houses, yes, thank you very much. By which I mean: The outside doesn't really give much away of what's happening on the inside. Even though, funnily, most of our lives are occurring within. Thoughts, emotions, feelings, memories; the very basic essences of humanity are mostly invisible to the eye. But maybe that was the whole purpose of the human body, after all: to conceal. Today, I would like to particularly point out to you something else which can be hidden inside human bodies: secrets. Deadly little things they are, which can be not so little at times and rather more similar to a ticking time bomb that could wash out whole cities. In case you happen to be wondering; this story is about that one deadly little thing – a secret, which rips apart quite a number of people. Figuratively and literally.

In an instant his lips were on mine, and without even knowing how, I felt myself succumbing to him. I pulled away quickly, but both of his hands went around me as he caressed my cheek, and then his lips crushed against mine again, this time with much more urgency. Ella is left with no choice but to do this, and day by day, she tries to get as close to her very attractive art teacher as she possibly could. However, in the midst of this, she starts realising that she actually does like Mr Edward James more than she thinks she ever would. On the other hand, her teacher struggles to stay away from the student whom he finds himself falling for. And at the same time, he has another struggle: he is being blackmailed by someone who knows all about his dark past, and his present: the interest that he has in a certain student.
