Lothrayel of Rivendell has never known the meaning of family aside from her guardian brother Aragorn. Now she's off on a quest with the Fellowship to destroy the Ring of Power. But will she be able to survive the journey? And why does she have an attraction to Legolas, the Mirkwoodian Elf.

(Please don't mind the titles in parenthesis. These are personal notes.) With Boromir slain, three missing, and the fellowship broken, the remaining four must find the missing three. However, with new details coming to light what will any of them believe? What exactly is Legolas trying to say when he mentions Caleniel? Once in Rohan, Aragorn begins to act strangely, claiming that his heart was stolen by a girl that did not give him the Evenstar. Does Aragorn truly mean what he says? And if so who? The princess of Rohan or someone else?

Julie, an orphaned, abandoned, and abused girl wakes up in a bed in Bag End two days before the big party. When she meets Frodo, a friendship forms, but she is afraid of even speaking to him and his friends, especially his cousin Pippin. She is forced to accompany Frodo and Sam to Rivendell, and she doesn't know what adventure she'll be on. Since I was part of the fellowship, my job was to protect the ring barrier! The only problem was.... I was cursed with something I could never change! The dwarfs took me in, they made me a home, they were my home! As a little kid I was tolled to hate elf's at they were selfish and greedy! Until one changed everything! As my feelings got stronger, I had to learn to control them, because I was dangerous.... I was deadly! The curse caped me from him. And I just didn't know if I would ever tell him how I truly felt!

When Rayel, Merry and Pippin are kidnapped by the Urk-Hai, the remaining Fellowship sets out to find them. Once reunited with her friends, Rayel is determined to secure the Hobbits' safety. When news of an attack on Rohan comes, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and Rayel spring into action to defend the people of Rohan in Helm's Deep. This furthers and continues the blossoming relationship between Rayel and Legolas.

The Battle for Helm's Deep is over, but the battle for Middle Earth is about to begin. Rayel finds herself thrown from one battle and tragedy and into yet another. With the discovery of her elemental powers comes the realization that she is a dangerous weapon to both the armies of Mordor and to her friends and comrades. The Great Eye has shifted its gaze to her and now she has a choice: Fight for her friends and allies, or flee into the Mountains. What will become of her relationship with Legolas? Will the Crownless Again be King? Or will the Armies of Mordor overthrow the Heir of Gondor?
