The college anti-socialist, Serena Oakmonte, has been blackmailed. By whom, might you ask? You would wanna think by an arch nemesis or just some guy that wants to get in her pants, but you would be wrong. Her parents. Yes, her parents were the ones to blackmail. Their proposition: "If you don't find somebody to share your apartment with, who'll pay half the rent, in one month, then we're eliminating your brothers opportunity to run the family business." Serena, having the relationship she does with her 15 year old brother, Chase, has no other choice but to do as told. Therefore, leaving her blackmailed. The family business, Estoddia, is a business that basically collects malls and larger shopping areas from all over the world. Being a direct employee of Estoddia, you could leave with $95,000 a month, give or take. That's making approximately $1,140,000 a year. However, now with that blackmail, Serena doesn't really have the way to exactly 'live luxuriously'. And to think this all started with her apartments owner doubling the price of rent. Now, the anti-social college student needs to find a room mate and that isn't the easiest thing to do. That's where the bad boy comes in. Usually, bad boy's are depicted as the guys that have bad behavior due to bad parenting or just bad experiences. Usually, they are the ones that ditch school to commit some kinda crime or get in trouble somehow. Or when they do go to school, they're disrespectful, hot headed assholes that end up screwing around with almost every girl in the school. Nothing of much difference can be said about Elijah Woodsley. That is, unless you live with him 24/7. Little secrets begin to unfold through each page of the book you're about to read. These secrets describe and sum up the character and their personality. I hope you enjoy. :)
