Everybody says Louis Tomlinson is Peter Pan because he's funny and immature. What if I were to tell you, they stories are real? Except Louis isn't Peter. It's his bandmate. Niall Horan. That's me. This is my story.

Niall Horan, a band member of One Direction, doesn't have just one secret. He has two. 1.) He has a younger sister named Isabella. 2.) He is a merman, and Isabella is a mermaid. When Niall was nine, and Isabella was eight, they found an island named Mako Island. It was a full moon, when they finished exploring, they jumped into a pool of water and they became half fish, and received powers. Tattoos were burnt into their skin at the back of their neck. A tattoo of a seashell. They were also given shark tooth necklaces. The shark tooth necklace is important. If they want to get into water without turning into a mermaid, and a merman, they have to wear them. It's a lot harder when Niall's bandmates don't know about his secrets. But, what happens when a scientist wants to find out what, or who, Niall and Isabella, really are.

Cuts raced up and down his arms, over more scars caused by a razor. As he lied on his bathroom floor, the blood dripping off his arm, painting a picture on the floor. He got to his feet; slowly and trying not to make a noise. He had relapsed, and hard this time. It was over five months ago when he stopped cutting; but today he just felt to low. The voices inside his head got to loud, and he needed them quiet. He washed off his arms, them cleaned up all the blood and wrapped his arm up. He walked out of the bathroom, head hung and shoulder dropped as he pulled down his long sleeve jacket and return to the boys. He had to be brave, but he also needed someone to save him. "Ten seconds," Liam spat at the smaller person, sternly. Niall looked up at the older man and blinked twice before he replied as non-shaky as possible. "O-okay." The fake-blond bit into the other's neck as softly as he could. Liam started to count. "One... Two... Three... Four... Five... Six..." Pause. "I think that's enough," he spoke once more.
