Wether it was actual notes, reminders, or just doodles, he was writing on his arms. But, he also had other problems. Problems with depression and suicide that he couldn't shake off him. Jefferson being one of the main causes. But he's also (anonymously) one of the reasons Hamilton is alive.

john laurens and alexander hamilton have always hated each other. laurens hates how hamilton always gets the grade and is at the top of the class while he is miraculously passing his classes. but hamilton hates how laurens can always be himself, unafraid of being judged. when the two are assigned as roommates for their sophomore year of college, things happen.

Prove you aren't a coward." I felt heat rising in my cheeks. How dare he. I would NOT let Jefferson get the best of me. I braced myself. With a quick flick of my hand I sent the bottle rotating. It spun for what felt like ages. I felt everyone in the room hold their breath. The little bottle finally lost it momentum and slid to a stop. I heard some gasps and some exhales.
