He returns later with a company of dwarves on a quest to reclaim a lost homeland. They asked Bilbo to join them, and help them, but he refuses. So Saria volunteers to go in his place. Though many of the dwarves are skeptical, it becomes obvious very quickly that she is more than capable of taking care of herself. As the quest continues, Saria proves herself a true asset several times over, she also grows very close to a certain blond Dwarf prince, but unfortunately they simply do not have the option of a fairy-tale love story. The road they walk is a perilous one, they balance on the edge of a knife. One wrong move will mean death for the entire company. When they find themselves back in Erebor, his uncle's dragon sickness will force them to make impossible choices; and there is a war brewing. Will they be able to bring everyone together and save their people? Or will it cost them everything? Including each other?
