1rst Place Winner of Contest. I had an errand there: gathering water-lilies, green leaves and lilies white to please my pretty lady, the last ere the year's end to keep them from the winter, to flower by her pretty feet till the snows are melted. Each year at summer's end I go to find them for her, in a wide pool, deep and clear, far down the Withywindle; there they open first in spring and there they linger latest. By that pool long ago I found the River-daughter, fair young Goldberry sitting in the rushes. Sweet was her singing then, and her heart was beating! And that proved well for you-- for now I shall no longer go down deep again along the forest-water, not while the year is old. Nor shall I be passing Old Man Willow's house this side of spring-time, not till the merry spring, when the River-daughter dances down the withy-path to bathe in the water. Some of it was written by @Ariador, and others by Neil. This is a collection of LotR-inspired nursery rhymes we wrote for Neil's nephew, they are mostly written in parody to already existing rhymes.

In the aftermath of a war that shattered Middle-Earth, two brothers find themselves exiled after stealing their father's jewels (the Silmarils) from an army camp. Maedhros and Maglor have been running from their fate for a long time. Now that they have no one left but each other, it may finally catch up to them.

A song/poem about the Lonely Mountain, heavily inspired by Blind Guardian's "Nightfall in Middle-Earth" album, along with basically every DragonForce, Hammerfall and Victorius song ever. Very much a Three Hammers (DragonForce song) influence in the verse about the quest and some of Sabaton's Carolus Rex in the final verse.

This is a simple thing, really. I wanted to take on the post-war lives of each member that isn't covered in the movies.

(AKA That AU no one asked for about Elrond living in Valinor with Maedhros as a child... Yeah...) (One shot (Ficlet)) Maedhros and the rest of the Feanorians are planning to light Formenos with the Feanorian lamps, something that his foster child, Elrond, has never seen before. My Mother's Day 'Ficlet' even though there are no mothers present in the story. >.< I tried.
