This is the rewritten version of the first one, I'll try not to rush it this time. Athena was born a dragon hybrid. Her father left after she was born but her mother took care of her the best she could. Once Athena turned 3, her mother married a fellow dragon who Athena called "Dragon Dad" as to not get her actual dad and him mixed up. After Athena turned 5 and went to school, someone slaughtered all the dragons forcing her to move in with her friends. After years of being the only known dragon-like being alive, Athena comes across a shocking discovery of a dragon egg. Can she manage to save the dragon race, or will the killer exterminate her and the egg?
