Demons are everywhere in the world. They kill without mercy and they're trying to take everything over. That can't happen. However, there are some people who are born with the power to kill demons. They can control 'Spirit Weapons.' Their power will form a weapon, usually a sword, and this weapon purifies a demon's evil. This kills it and turns it to ash. Although a lot of people are born with this ability, they don't know how to control it. That's why special academies are built to train them in the use of their weapon. Also, most can inject their power into a normal weapon to make it stronger than it's regular version. This isn't always very effective against a demon and it's still weaker than an actual Spirit Weapon. That's where Akihito comes in. He's been studying at an academy, but can't summon his Spirit Weapon. None of his senseis know why this is and neither does he. So, he simply has to inject a normal weapon with his essence and fight with that. How will Akihito fight the demons who killed his family without a Weapon?
