Frank's father remarried after the death of Frank's mother. Now, Frank shares a room with a very odd step-brother.

(prequel to the "I tried...and failed" one shot) Gerard is in the army and Frank is his husband. Sometimes, they go half a year or more without seeing each other. It's not something they can't handle, but sometimes it gets to be too much. There's always the possibility that Gerard may not come back home and Frank hates it.

"I believe you've grown tired with life Gerard. Please, let me show you some fun, let me show you what it's like to be alive again. I promise, you will not be disappointed." Gerard meets an amazing man that takes his breath away and brings back his fire for life, with a night to remember. But there just might be more to him than what meets the eye.

Highschool is a living hell. At least that's Gerard's opinion because he can't pass the hallways without being shoved against lockers or called a "fag". God, how Gerard hated this word. In his last year of school, he decides to take a risk and starts a school project in which he wants to find out why all of his teachers and classmates hate homosexual people so much. For his project "homophobia is gay" he interviews a few people but decides that this won't be enough. What if he could introduce one of them to his world and show them that it's not bad to be gay? And what if this person was Frank Iero, the guy who has a list of girls he slept with right under his mattress at home, and an abhorrence against the red-headed boy? *Warnings*: bad language, homophobia, smut, abuse

Gerard Way is a virgin. A pathetic, gay, red-haired little virgin. But he was okay with that. People in school avoided him, hell, they didn't even know who he was, and that was how it was. Until a good 'friend' of Gerard's started a rumor. A rumor that was bound to destroy everything Gerard had come to know, and even a little more in the process. Nothing good could come out of this situation, or so Gerard thought. But a certain boy with converse and a lip piercing would beg to differ. (Ok I suck at writing intros. Frank Iero hates children, with their high-pitched voices and tiny little hands. But of all of the children that irritate him, Ms. Way's kindergarten class is the worst. And of course, that's where Frank is stuck volunteering for the next two months.
