Sequel to Blood Line. 15 year old Keyanna McKnight is not just your average girl from the ghetto. She does have her "ratchet" tendencies, but she wants more for herself. Keyanna is determined to make a better life for her and her little sister and get out of the ghetto, even if that means giving up her dream of going to medical school. 17 year old August Alsina is trying hard to survive the cold, hard streets of New Orleans. He has to do whatever he can to make a way for himself. For August, pushing rocks was his way to make it in downtown NOLA. Although he always dreamed of becoming a world renown singer, he had accepted the fact that he would probably be in the game for a while. Keyanna and August will both discover that sometimes you have to do things you dont want to do in order to make it. When the two cross paths, will they willingly join forces to get out of the ghetto or wil they be forced to work together to save their lives?
