IMPORTANT: Hey everyone, I have decided to re-write this story. It's old and the original idea for it is what created Sunbeam! Yay! Anyway, I will be writing this with hopefully the help of Obsidian, Terracotta, and possibly Storm themselves on our official Crossbreeds account, TheCrossbreeds. (plz follow us too!) This book is the original story that was written with some quick edits and some unfinished chapters. I never finished this version and never will (well, maybe. I have to talk to Obsidian about that...). I wrote till a bit of chapter 6 when I decided that I would re-write it completely. I left this version up for some reasons that I will not bore you with, thank you for reading this story! Sunbeam, Storm, Terracotta, and Obsidian are dragonets from different tribes, they meet each other in the War Ending Ceremony, an annual celebration where the tribes get together to celebrate and remember the end of the Great War. They are chosen to investigate a mysterious island that has had signs of life on it that has never before been seen or recorded to have even existed. These four dragonets are very different, except for one quality that they share... They each have the same secret.

In a land far from Pyrrhia, where the seven tribes don't know what exists, there are a few tribes in a land. This land is called Rubron. A place full of peace and freedom, at least, for awhile... Every 50 years, a dragonet is born with powerful powers. When the three moons eclipse, a child is born from death. When one is born in a eclipse, it is said that they are dangerous and contain no soul. If they aren't killed within their second birthday, the soul becomes corrupted with darkness and hatred. But everything isn't true. Sometimes, when one is born on the three moon eclipse, the could be a powerful healer that can cause peace in the tribes. Tui T. It all began with a SeaWing-SandWing hybrid named Sorra. The NightWings have discovered a prophecy, about a royal crossbreed dragonet who will lead a new tribe of the outcasts. But ever since the failure of their made-up prophecy, the dragons of night are determined to keep this one a secret. But how will Sorra save reign this new kingdom without knowing her destiny? The war affected everyone in its own way. Families were constantly living in fear, soldiers had to face the reality that they might not live to see the next day. But that all changed when the dragonets brought the Sandwing heirs together, and Thorn was crowned Queen. From this they created an Academy, for dragons of all tribes to come together. Artemis is one of these dragons. As her parent's compassion for each other and their family deteriorates, the two Nightwings decide they've had enough of them and enroll Artemis and her eldest sister into Jade Mountain. Of the three newly added Winglets, she's enrolled in Opal, and is relieved to know she isn't the only peculiar one in it. But before they know it, Artemis and her friends are faced with a prophecy, and a dark secret. New continents, new tribes, new enemies. They face the biggest threat to Pyhrria since the end of the war. Gold, silver, sun and moon, the scales have tipped. This is the story of Artemis.
