You also struggle with two lives, the life of Y/N and the life of Myst. It's hard enough living one life, but when the other has fame and reputation, it's even harder to let go. Falling into the Underground where monsters have been banished to for hundreds of years, Y/N finds that the monsters have gone insane from lack of determination; something that monsters need to survive and give them hope. Unfortunately, it seems that Y/N has enough determination to sustain every monster in the Underground for a few years, but not enough to be able to RESET. Armed with only a stick and a cyclops flower, Y/N makes their way through the Underground in hopes of escaping the awful place alive. Alone in a condemned world where monsters and humans fight for power constantly, Y/N survives off of the wood's riches and the small scraps of shelter she can find in ghost towns. Allies and friends have come and gone during the war, either killed or have parted ways. It's not all that bad. She could be dead, after all. One afternoon when shipments from the Human Capital come on a train, she meets a mysterious stranger who saves her life. He's a monster, no doubt, a skeleton to be exact. Y/N is intrigued by the monster and decides to follow him into the next town over where he disappears into an abandoned warehouse. Y/N follows him in only to be pinned to the wall for questioning. After answering all his questions, introductions are made and Y/N learns that the skeleton's name is G. Y/N likes G despite his hateful nature and somehow convinces him to let her come along on a quest he's taking to save his brother from the Monster Capital where they took him for war. After surviving assaults, the government, and Mother Nature herself, Y/N and G start to form a special bond that neither of them wants to break. But when everything goes wrong and neither of them is strong enough to prevent it, Y/N finds that the capitals that she had always hated are far more sinister than she could've ever imagined. You wake up on the cold floor in the old lab that Alphys had found. You felt strange and the only life form that you could find in the Underground was Chara, who had somehow gotten out of your consciousness and now looked like a normal human. You find out that six months had passed and a child named Frisk had freed everyone and the barrier was broken.
