Michael, not keen on seeing the purple pop star after the events of 87', and hectic schedule for the release of his upcoming album, immediately ignores Prince's request. Prince, being the aggressive, manipulative asshole he is, who won't take no for an answer, he things take a quick turn for the worse, as he takes the matters into his own hands, forcing Michael to work with him, against Michael's own will. But this collaborative proposal is no music collaboration. This is Prince's way of getting what he wants. More likely, who he wants.

Picking it up he can't put down the prose, artwork and diary entries of an unknown girl. He wants to learn more about this mystery woman he has only known through her journal writing. He finds himself at a crossroads and is in search of guidance and distraction, could she be the one to help him? Please know that this is the Kid, not Prince, though I did borrow from events in Prince's life, they are not linear or under certain timelines. AU of course, but most references will be built from what we know about the Kid in Purple Rain and Graffiti Bridge. Inspired in part by the 2 month love affair between Gertrude and Dexter.
