Redtail is a young SkyWing living on her own outside of the Pyrrhian city of Possibility. She avoids the other SkyWings, for reasons dealing with her mysterious past. She has a gift, or, if you ask her, a curse- but she soon finds out that she isn't the only one. Redtail soon finds herself in a web of death, lies, and prophecies with her newfound friends, and to her dismay... She's the only one who can save them. Unless the Ice and Fire do not shine the light, This world will fall into an endless fight... Please note: some of you might consider the characters in this fanfiction "Mary Sue". This is my new art book after my long departure from updating in my last one.

IMPORTANT: Hey everyone, I have decided to re-write this story. It's old and the original idea for it is what created Sunbeam! Yay! Anyway, I will be writing this with hopefully the help of Obsidian, Terracotta, and possibly Storm themselves on our official Crossbreeds account, TheCrossbreeds. (plz follow us too!) This book is the original story that was written with some quick edits and some unfinished chapters. I never finished this version and never will (well, maybe. I have to talk to Obsidian about that...). I wrote till a bit of chapter 6 when I decided that I would re-write it completely. I left this version up for some reasons that I will not bore you with, thank you for reading this story! Sunbeam, Storm, Terracotta, and Obsidian are dragonets from different tribes, they meet each other in the War Ending Ceremony, an annual celebration where the tribes get together to celebrate and remember the end of the Great War. They are chosen to investigate a mysterious island that has had signs of life on it that has never before been seen or recorded to have even existed. These four dragonets are very different, except for one quality that they share... They each have the same secret.

When Starflight dies, he can still see his friends, but they can't see him. He watches as life goes on without him. It hurts him whenever he sees them grieving for him. But he knows that he must be strong and hope that maybe his friends will too. He tries not to, but he can't stop himself from looking back.

The world has been saved by the Dragonets of Destiny. The two sisters who blister and burn have died, and the sister who blazes learned and bowed to Queen Thorn, ending the War of SandWing Succession. However, as the whole world knows, although Queen Glory has helped fulfill the prophecy and save all of Pyrrhia, Glory was a replacement for the SkyWing egg of prophecy that was killed the night before they all hatched... ... ... Or was it? What if the egg was never shattered? What if the dragonet survived? This is that tale.
