For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and for these two, their lives have been planned down to a science. For Wylan Olson, being yourself can be very stressful. Since she was young, her emotions have always been backwards. The embodiment of 'tears of joy,' that laughs to keep from crying, not many people understand her struggle. Mostly because she barely understands it herself, but she's making it...barely. All she wants to do is make something out of herself, and she's willing to work for it. Kwame Okari has been raised to be perfect. His parents' strict expectations at son leave no room for friendships, which they regard as frivolous. Their only concern is for him to be Ivy League, and he cannot afford to disappoint. He is a boy on a mission, with a clear objective: be first. And there's only one person standing in his way-Wylan. As the two develop a better understanding of each other, competing agendas complicate their relationship forcing them to decide which is more important: attraction or ambition, satisfaction or success, friendship or fruition, and lead them to wonder if one has to be mitigated for the other.

This book is similar to our campaign book, 'Black Characters Guide.' However this book is centralising on the common or lack of black characters in certain books. For example, common urban characters. This book is the rants that we have as a team that black characters experience and we don't want or do. This rant book does not reflect Saveblackcharacters team work and values.

This is Isla's quest for the truth, and her slow spiral into becoming her very own worst nightmare. When the gods ascended thousands of years ago, they left behind the divine gift of theurgy. Its powers still echo amongst men, but run fiercer yet in the blood of kings and queens. And one of them will stop at nothing before Isla is dead. A betrayal lures her out of refuge and into her journey home, where she must unmask her enemies before they unmask her. The theurgy that she has had to keep hidden for many years can be her greatest ally or her most lethal foil. Only her wits can guide her through the dangerous politics of the Surikh court. Being call a sex addict wasn't good enough, it wasn't complicated enough, and that is exactly what Kyla was. Craving sex on a daily basis was just what she did. She caught herself living off of one night stands and hook ups. She barely even knew what a real relationship was. Most women would probably describe her as a hoe, whore, tramp, bitch, or skank. She didn't really care though. She didn't care about anyone's feelings or who's she hurt. She was just too clever and heartless to get wrapped up in anyone's feelings at all. But soon that would change... Satyriasis /ˌsatəˈrīəsis, ˌsā- / noun Uncontrollable or excessive sexual desire in men Andre Martin has an obsession, just like every other male, it is with sex. But there may be an exception... When these two cross paths one insane night. Both of their ways just might be changed. Together they can cure eachother. Or maybe just tame eachother.
