Although he has a bright future ahead of him, his goal is to not chase the dreams that his parents set out for him. Instead of wanting to be a doctor, or obtaining any other occupation most parents would want for their child, Kendrick's dream is to become a world known hip-hop recording artist. Kendrick wants to be able to do what he loves, which is music, for a living, but no one said the road to achieving this dream would be easy. Considering the fact that he shares the dream of many other guys his age, among many other obstacles, it's easy to get discouraged and give up. With the help of his best friend Jordin, though, Kendrick is determined to do what ever it takes to reach his goal. Bad Boy Blue. He has that nickname for a reason. Abandoned by his white mother as a baby, Blue was taken in my gang-running father. He grew up on the streets, and was raised by a gun. After being caught with drugs and guns and sent to juvie, he was released to be with his uncle in Louisiana where his old life can't get to him. But it's not that easy. It's a struggle for him to do anything right, an nobody takes the boy with the tattoos and bad record seriously. Except Lou. Luigi Alayna Brown is used to being picked out to be picked on. Normally she had her brother there to take care of her but he's gone to college. She wants to escape the ties to her mother, but everybody wants to hold her there. Except Blue, who could care less. Even though she knows Blue likes her, she can't help but boycott the bad boy.

Bad boy, good girl, cliche happily ever after ending right? Well, not with Melissa and Jionni. One boy is free to do whatever he wants, while the other is sheltered and has her every move watched by her parents. At Baton Rouge High School, "hood boy" Jionni and his friends aren't too fond of the only girl in school who has money, referring to her as a "silver spoon child." But after Jionni has a change of heart, he and the rich girl decides to keep it a secret that they hang out on a regular. After hanging out for some time, the two starts to find interests in things that they never bothered with before. Once their friends and family start to wonder why they're changing and acting out of character, they start to do their own secret investigation to find out what's REALLY happening with the two. It all goes down in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. ;)
