It's not easy being a teenager; between school, chores, saving the world, attending social gatherings, it's a lot to manage. Meg wouldn't trade it for anything...almost. All she wants is some recognition, to loose the "Sidekick" tag and be her own Hero. But Committee have some, honestly, outdated ideas about who gets to wear the Hero mantle. And her Hero, and best friend, Derrick isn't being helpful in the slightest.
