2019. Nothing special to say about really. Life was about as normal as any day could've been. You had the working classes and business officials. Self-expression was nothing, it was imaginary, and frowned upon. Either you worked for Better Living Industries or you were one of their hopelessly drugged minions. Forced to be happy by an amphetamine they shoved into your body. Me? I wanted nothing of it. I was a rebel, or a Killjoy, something that got you killed in todays society. Funny thing was, Killjoys never die and I was willing to take that risk.

Summary: Frank and Paige have known each other practically their whole lives. They went to preschool together, spent weekends at each other's houses, and were always seen as brother and sister. They were as close as two friends could ever be. But no matter how close they were, there was one thing that Paige could never tell Frank; she was in love with him. "Even though he was my best friend and I felt like I could tell him anything, there would always be one thing about me that Frank would never know."
