"Kiss me."
The words rolled off his tongue and he ran his hands through his hair.
"What?" I screeched when the reality hit me.
"Trust me."
I immediately assumed that this was supposed to be a joke, that someone would pop out of the bushes and laugh at me. I exhaled sharply.
"I don't even know you!" Part of me wanted to kiss him, and I couldn't explain why. He was right there in front of me, standing much taller.
"B- but why?"
The boy looked around and bit his lip.
"Listen-" he began. I heard footsteps approaching fast, clicking on the sidewalk.
"Please," he begged. Just as I opened my mouth to give in, he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him, cupping my face.
It all happened so fast.
