Honoria Took is Bilbo Baggins little cousin. She is the first half Hobbit, half Elf to ever step foot in the Shire. I went with Thorin Oakenshield's company, battled the dragon and after all of that I went with Bilbo back to the Shire. When Bilbo adopted Frodo, he called me mom and even though we tried to correct him, he would continue, so we ended up trying. I joined the Fellowship to keep an eye on Frodo, to socialize with Legolas but I did not intend to fall in love, at lest not with Aragorn son of Arathon. I fell in love with him, pretty hard, and what I didn't know was that he also fell in love with me.

War is brewing, and the people of Middle Earth are preparing for it. Among them is Averael: a Ranger from the North, and one of the last of the Dunedain. While on her way to Gondor to ask for help from the Rangers in the South, she happens to run into a mysterious stranger at an inn, and accompanies him and four hobbits on their journey. Struggling with her painful past, Averael finds herself falling in love with the stranger she met that night as they become more and more involved in their quest to destroy the Ring.
