Anna has finally found out what her green eyes mean, but it was too late and now she has to deal with the consequences. Derek can't be contacted and now Peter has gone missing. This is the sequel to Transformed so if you have not read it i would highly recommend that you do before reading Second Bite. It has been 3 months since everything went down with the Kanima and Gerard. Even though Erica and Boyd are missing and the pack hasn't stopped looking for them, everything seems to be normal. Anna's relationship with Derek is going strong and so are her friendships with Scott, Stiles, Isaac and... Lydia? But all that is about to change. The alphas have made their appearance and won't stop until they have got what they came for, but what is that? Derek has been gone for two months and hasn't returned any of Arden's calls. Stiles has been helping his girlfriend, Malia Tate, work on controlling her wild were-coyote abilities. Arden Finstock is trying to remain strong. No one, aside from Derek knows she is breaking on the inside. She was hoping for a normal school year from now on, but when living in Beacon Hills, Arden knows that will never happen. Beacon Hills, California is known through out the supernatural world. That's why Arden finds herself drawn to the small town. She packs up her things and says goodbye to her work-alcoholic mother to move in with her dad. Arden doesn't have to worry saying goodbye to any friends because her mom always thought it was safer for her to be home schooled. Arden thought that moving would make her feel more at home, which it does, but, now, she realizes she has to keep a lot of secrets. Her dad has no idea about what she can do and she plans to keep it that way. She knew high school would be a new adventure, but she never expected herself to become friends with a thunder kitsune right away.
