"Please adopt me." That was what (Y/N) (L/N) said to her relative, Shinra Kishitani, along with the Black Rider, Celty Sturluson. Running off from home, she finds herself in Ikebukuro. She immediately went to her relative, Shinra Kishitani, who was the only sane one who's close to her. When being told to stay away from an informant named Izaya Orihara, however, things didn't go as it was planned. Durarara!! and its respective characters belong to Ryōgo Narita

(Reader Insert!) Izaya vowed to never love one human. He would stay faithful to humanity forever and always. (Reader) interested Izaya, and he longed to make her a pawn at his disposal. What he didn't realize, is that in the process, he was breaking his promise. What will he choose? The safety of loving humanity, or the dangerous freedom of loving (Reader)? You met Izaya Orihara in college, and you have always been impressed by his intelligence and good looks. As a desperate attempt to stay together after graduation, you asked Izaya whether or not you could work for him as an informant's assistant. To your surprise, he has always been interested in you and gladly accepted your request, and from then on, your relationship with Izaya progressed exponentially. Chiyami Kuronomi is a 19 years old girl who live not in a normal state of life. Her life is horrible, but she never felt pain. Ikebukuro is a great place. It was rather quiet for a while. But somethings are happening to disturb the peace. Old gangs are coming back, new gangs are emerging, and people are going missing. Follow the kids of your favourite characters as they delve deeper into the drama that the city's bright lights are hiding. (I DO NOT OWN DURARARA OR ITS CHARACTERS. The informant enjoyed being in control of her expression, of her movements, of her feelings, perhaps even of her life in total. It made him feel equal to a puppet master, to a God. Twitching corners of his lips containing laughter was enough evidence for that. That was about as much as she could tell, but other than that Orihara Izaya was one big question mark to her. He has always been like this, doing or saying certain things to get a reaction, preferably one he already predicted. As if he sought confirmation in his skills as an omniscient God. Even when deciding not to be responsive to any of his teasing actions, he was a winner. It was as if he was playing a game he invented himself, one that he could impossibly lose, no matter what.
