Everyone's favorite hero Mark is the smiling face of YouTube, bright and bubbling over with cheeriness and the optimism everyone knows him for. Yet, things are not always as they appear on the outside. Mark struggles to deal with problems of the past, finding it hard to sleep and relying on his friends more and more for comfort, striking up curiosity and worry within them all. Finally, Jacksepticeye himself makes an appearance in America wanting to help Mark, only to find out he became involved with something a lot bigger than he expected. Mark's life hangs by a thread, and the only way to save him is through dreams even darker and more dangerous than reality. And Jack is the only one who can fight his way through.

WARNING: I seriously hate this story. Read at your own risk. It CLEARLY gets better with each chapter, as my writing skill improved- but it starts with a disgusting cliche. Looking back now, it seems silly. It seems silly to think that, after all the jokes, stares, and meaningful silences, we'd still only be friends. It seems silly to think that I'd tried so hard to go against the very thing I wanted. It seems silly to think that he and I couldn't see what the future held for us. Honestly, there are tons of Septiplier One-Shot books out there, so I can't claim uniqueness. There are also other talented authors out there, so I can't claim quality... But I can claim that the following one-shots, written by both @thespottedowl and me (@skwarlogirlcfc), are unique to us, and written to the best of our ability.

Currently: 42,000+ words Status: Ongoing series Jack didn't ask to move thousands of miles away from home in Ireland, moreover he didn't ask to move to a kingdom that had more problems than it had benefits. Except for his few friends that provided him with a place to stay, he hardly knew anyone or anything that this foreign place had to offer him. Well, he had to admit he was at least somewhat grateful for his job though. Mucking the stables under the King himself wasn't that bad, it could be worse; he didn't mind being outdoors all hours of the day and the pay wasn't half bad...but the package that seems to ride along the tail end has really started to become a nuisance. Mark didn't ask to be born a prince, especially one that was forbidden to step foot outside the castle else he'd disgrace his family. From what? He wasn't sure, but his Mother enforced the rule harshly upon him nonetheless. As he's pushed towards a life he doesn't want, holed up in the prison of a castle with no friends, he'd come to accept that he would never live a normal life. To ease his mind on lonely days, Mark often visited the stables with a bit of help from some sympathetic guards. The old keeper there was kind to him, as were the workers; he found the place to be his little form of temporary escape. But, on one fateful day he's introduced to a new worker. He is rude and bitter and talks to Mark as if he's held a lifelong grudge against him, but Mark can't help but find the Irishman the slightest bit intriguing. There's something about him. As the two slowly begin to get closer, Mark begins to realize that the stable boy isn't really the rude asshole he plays to be. In all, he's just an undeniable idiot... ...An idiot who might just steal his heart.

Mark's close friend Joseph had just died and Mark didn't know what to do. He had never felt so empty and cold. It was like there was a black hole inside him, sucking away all the light in his life. And Jack ends up in LA to spend time with his American pals and ends up finding a new home trying to rebuild the broken places in Mark. (This is NOT meant to be disrespectful to Mark or Jack or anyone else. This is a fan-made story and is a respectful one and is 100% fiction -though it is based very VERY slightly on an actual event. Jack is a prince in a Kingdom nestled in the mountains, and he is well acquainted with his people and his life. However, he's definitely not ready to take over his term as the King yet. There's too much that he hasn't done yet, and even with the other Kingdom he's supposed to ally with his own through marriage growing frustrated and restless with their weapons, Jack refuses; girls aren't really his type anyway. Mark is a solider for the King's army, and has been all his life. He is aware that the other kingdom is ready for war, and he is going to be the one to fight them. Even so, his general assigns him the role of persuading the prince into marriage by protecting him as he does what he wants, but always reminding him of his duties - an order that Mark ignores. Only after they start spending time with each other do both men realize they found themselves in a situation much more than they bargained for.
