When the owner of a quaint counseling business mysteriously dies, Feathershine is left to take her aunt's burden on her shoulders. The dementia-ridden Fireheart, Nettlebounce and Petalbounce, and sometimes Sandstone, if she shows up to work, are there to help her. With a certification from a three-hour online course (that she may or may not have cheated on), it's now Feathershine's responsibility to counsel all of StarClan. It's only a bit of a catastrophe.

With an amazing machine invented by the Twolegs and some headphones, cats and Twolegs are now able to communicate. This is good in so many ways--the cats get a huge leap forward in modernization, and the two species can live in peace. Take Aspenfrost, for instance: a cat with a family in Landong, a place where both cats and Twolegs live. With an Igid mate and two kittens, he's the happiest cat there could be. But no machine lasts forever, and there is no telling what amount of bloodshed will result when it fails. (Idea by Ember)
