Olivia Benson arrives to the scene of yet another crime to meet the victim, Taylor Parker. As she so often does, Olivia finds herself overly invested in the case, and becomes attached to the young 16 year old girl. Once the investigation is over, though, Olivia is not able to let Taylor go, and makes a decision to permanently keep her around.

Nor did she think she would with NYPD's SVU on her side. But one night, walking home, she encounters a group of men. One takes her, one shoots at him without a second's warning. All the knowledge she has from her mother won't help her tonight.
