In this world, similar, but different from ours, there exists Lukist Energy, which exists in every living being from Humans and Supernatural Creatures alike. However, the humans cannot utilize Lukist Energy and turn them into Magical Power, unlike the Supernatural. Thus, Humans are branded "The Providers" for the Supernatural World, especially the Vampires - humans that are damned - humans that are dead in body, but alive in spirit. This tale focuses on Annabella Fangclaw, a sixteen year old young woman who in reality is 150 years old. She always found life a bore in the mid 19th Century Eurora. That is until a Vampire from the Iluminatia named Serastios Iluminatia barricades himself in her mansion, moments after her previous butler, who recently died, was buried. That same night, two Vampire siblings of Serastios attacks both Annabella and him on the balcony, which starts this epic journey in realizing who she is and what destiny she's been branded with. This Fantasy Epic mainly involves her conflicts with two warring Dukedoms: The Fangclaw and the Iluminatia Dukedom and how their opinions are justified, but resulted in a hundred year war. The war affected a certain clan called "The Adlets" who are under the influence of the Iluminatia and sadistic General Iaosos. Annabella, with the help of Serastios and Adlet Archer Roktu are to free this island from the Iluminatia before their evil presence brings an end to Adlet Island.

Imagine you've always been living a normal life and in a spur of the moment, all logic is lost and you find yourself at an academy for the powerful and gifted. The people around you are weird - but you feel normal unlike the society that has surrounded you for years. Calanda's life wasn't as simple as it seemed - born in a prestigious and rich family during the Victorian Age didn't help either. She didn't like being all too ladylike, something that the society could never accommodate. Hell, it scares the living daylight out of her when she knows that she's someone so strong that she was feared. Tossed into a whole load of drama, she searches for a place where she can truly be herself and no one else. It's surprising how much could change when you turn from nothing to something.

It's customary for Gothic romance novels to include a mysterious girl locked in the attic. Hannah Smith just wishes she wasn't that girl. As a narcoleptic and the companion to an earl's daughter with a strange affliction of her own, Hannah knows she's lucky to have a roof over her head and food in her belly when so many orphans starve on the streets. Yet freedom is something Hannah longs for. She did not, however, want her freedom to arrive in the form of kidnapping. Taken by handsome Jack Langley to a place known as Freak House, she finds herself under the same roof as a mad scientist, his niece, a mute servant and Jack, a fire starter with a mysterious past. They assure Hannah she is not a prisoner and that they want to help her. The problem is, they think she's the earl's daughter. What will they do when they discover they took the wrong girl? A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR: When I set out to write the Freak House series, I wanted to put my own spin on the Gothic novels of the Victorian era. I've always loved their creepiness, the secrets, and the romance too, but I wanted to see the story from the perspective of the character that is often present but never the heroine - the girl kept in the attic. I hope you'll enjoy this trilogy as much as I enjoyed writing it.
