Lance McClain was burdened with a lot of things; anxiety, fretful thoughts, a bad home life... But his obsession with stars was not, what he'd consider, a burden. He was infatuated with gazing upon those burning balls of plasma, situated million of miles away from his touch. Lance would take up any offer just to stare at them, even when handed the slimmest of chances. Even when - realistically - there wasn't a way to see them. Even if the only spot to see stars were in a city, with hundreds of other artificial lights surrounding him, drowning out the natural brilliance of the real lights strung up far in the sky above. Stars offered him a comfort that no one else could - he much rather preferred the purple and blue tint of the sky compared to the marks of purple and blue on his skin. He himself was blue; figuratively, yes, but he also cherished the colour and adorned it on many of his things. Keith has been acting quite strange for awhile and the paladins are worried, especially Lance. Even though Lance can't stand him, he does worry about him but Keith told him that he was fine. It was hard to argue with Keith so they dropped the conversation. Later on, when Lance tries to talk to him again, he realizes why Keith was like this. He now knew his secret but could he keep it or tell the others?
