While Dans there he gets put in a hotel room with Louise, including the six other people who came on the trip, but one of them seemed to stand out to Dan a lot more. His name was Phil Lester, he was tall and pale, with Jet black hair and piercing bright blue eyes that stabbed into Dans soul mesmerizing Dan.
