(Main Character's P.O.V) So you guys are here! You’re here to “hear” my story!.. Well it’s simple really. I was abused by my mother growing up. We didn’t have much and my mother was the type of person that lusted for more, and when she didn’t get it she would take it out on me. I guess you can say that I was my mother’s own personal punching bag. Day after day I would start to drift in a sort of frenzy, in which my pain never touched my mind but the realization of everything that I went through when I was younger would soon come back when I woke up in the mornings to find all the old scars, and not just physically but mentally. But let me tell you guys that this isn’t a story about a life of only misery. It’s a story about my awaken to the world and the things I found I could have even when my past was telling me I couldn’t . You see, in this story I’ll tell you how one man- with all his beauty and goodness- saved me, and taught me how to love.
