There are legends of Mermaids from all over the world. Some telling of kind gentle mermaids—symbols of good luck—but others telling darker, more gruesome tales. What if they were based on something real—the truth behind the myth? Two ancient races from across the stars, came to Earth when their home lands were destroyed, both inspiring elaborate tales for the people of earth. Both races had names, but they were known to the Humans as the Mermaids and the Werewolves. The Mermaids and Werewolves started a war, and after a particularly bloody battle, both races left Earth once more to search for new homes. The war continued to rage on, millions and trillions of light years away from the Earth. Over the years both Mermaids and Werewolves who had no desire to continue fighting, have taken refuge on Earth once more… Die from noxious gas cooking your lungs or Drown, trying in vain to escape it? What would you choose? On the 24th of August 79 AD a human girl by the name of Naia was faced with that choice.
