Beings keep me up at night, they are in my dreams and I want them to go away..

(Y/N) has a haunting past. She wants to escape it more than anything in the world. When she is in a cafe the news reports a radio contest. 'The winner of this contest will win a plane ticket to Los Angeles California, and 25,000 dollars to go with it.' If she wins it could change everything. But it was a 50% chance of winning, but that was for losing too. She figured if that 50% of losing came to be she could always hitchhike. Hopefully this would be the last week of being in Tennessee. Btw the title is a Tangled reference, sorry. One more thing, this may have some trigger warnings so ya know if your sensitive to that crap, read at your own will.

That's just how it's always been and Kay thinks nothing of it, until she meets Cal: a shape-shifter who is on the run and needs her help to uncover what's really going on.
