When commoner-in-disguise Eddie Shaw is hired to trick a prince into falling for her, will she be able to break both their hearts when seduction turns to love? ***** Being hired to trick the crown prince of Valandria into falling in love with her is maybe the last thing Chicago-born Edwina "Eddie" Shaw thought she'd be doing after losing her waitressing job. But when her hot as hell ex-boyfriend suddenly comes motorcycling back into her life, that's exactly what he hires her to do. The problem? No one warned her the prince had arms like a lumberjack and abs like a Greek god. No one warned her he had a sweet spot for rescue horses, a laughable inability to dance, and a wicked way with his hands. But Eddie WAS warned about one thing: her job is to make the prince fall in love with her, not to fall in love herself. Otherwise, breaking his heart might just mean breaking her own in the process... Season One & Season Two are now completed and fully released! Set in a utopian society, mankind has transcended the entrapments of the human body, we've seamlessly perfected genetic manipulation and technology so that our bodies no longer fail us, we age at a significantly reduced rate, resistant to any illness, we've become almost immortal. We are also heavily augmented with technology, and we are plugged into a vast network that spans the numerous planets that we've developed for the expanding population under the control of "The Authority", a council of elders who've endured millennia and govern the Net and the society. Our story follows Bastion, who's lived for about 100 years, but physically has only aged to about his 20s and is still considered in this society to be a "child", lives a seemingly normal life, he has a natural gift for manipulating genetics and is being trained at a facility to make this his life work exploring the limits of the human genome. One day Bastion makes a discovery, one that could destroy his society as he knows it, one that shows that even in a perfect world, evolution is the enemy.

*****WATTYS 2015 WINNER!***** WATTPAD STAFF PICK (9/7/15) In the end, the robots win. But you already knew that. "Everyone Died + My iPhone Stopped Working" is a collection of short interviews with some of the survivors. People who have tremendous insight into the rise of Artificially Intelligent machines or, more often, don't. Why did the robots rise up? What did they want? Why couldn't they be stopped? Can they be stopped now? Is humanity doomed? And what the f--k is going on with the squirrels? You will get the answers to all of these questions. Or some of these questions. Or none of these questions. We'll see. I will be updating this once a week until I run out of stuff that I find funny. Then I'm done. Hi y'all. Last year I quit my job, married a Canadian, and uprooted my entire life - old typewriters, vintage costumes and all - to Toronto. We called it our Canadian adventure and we're living in Apartment A, or as we call it, Apartment "Eh?" Collected here are some of my thoughts about the Great White North and I'll be updating regularly with new musings since I'm still adjusting to my newfound home.
