This is for a contest, at death's door contest.~~~~~~~What would you do if you were given a second chance at life, when you were dead while living? Would you take it? What if pain was all you felt when living, would you want to do it all over again? Or would you make it worth the while? Would you take someone's soul and leave yours tarnished forever?

Demons have prowled the earth for many millenniums. A few of them have mixed in with the humans. One in particular has had enough of the human realm and ventures off, exploring many worlds to relieve her boredom. However, one wrong move and she ended up on the bridge between realms. Amaranta, the Unfading One, is that demon; she falls into the hands of the silver-haired witch. This witch is no laughing matter -- she can take powers and souls away at a whim. Scared for her life, Amaranta bargains with the witch. It is a bargain that may end her completely.
