Welcome to the 2019 Genre Contest! This is the First Annual Genre Contest. The purpose of this award system is to celebrate our amazing authors while they put forward their best works! Sure, it's no Wattys, and the rewards aren't as extravagant, but winning will always make someone feel a sense of accomplishment. You can write anything. There are no limitations. Any genre, any length, poems, mature, anything, so long as it meets a short list of requirements. We want you to be able to express yourself through what YOU'RE good at, and not by anyone's limitations.

A human girl was bullied and struggling with her past, self harm, depression, and anxiety. The angel first becomes her friend and her protector. When a battle breaks out between the angels and the demons and the angel must go off to war she leaves the girl behind scared and anxious for if her best friend will return. While they are apart they realize how much they need each other, so much that what they have cannot be just friendship. When the angel returns they confront these feelings which leads to the angel being stripped from her wings and duties. What happens when she can't protect herself from the demons or her love? Will they survive?
