With his two little girls born Alfred has is faced with his biggest challenge yet: Parenthood. He has to learn how to juggle raising his kids, do his duties as a nation, and help build his still young relationship with Ivan. Luckily for him Ivan is a very understanding man who is ready to help him face all the ups and downs life is throwing at him. All while that's happening he's forced to confront with pieces of his past while simultaneously trying to keep it away from his new family. But the more he faces, the more he realizes that not everything he knew is as it seems. A threat lies hidden in the shadows. An old foe he once thought to have destroyed.

In an attempt to get the two bickering countries to get along, Alfred and Ivan must spend one month together in one of Alfreds homes. In a house set back into the woods, these two countries are going to grow closer together and learn more about eachother then anyone else has before. Even a few things that they never wanted the other to find out. *Warning* Depressed America. Suicidal thoughts. Suicide attempt. Vulgar language. Maybe smut? We'll have to see where this goes.

After the Cold War, many countries have noticed that Russia is quiet, dark, and more to himself than before. Not only is he keeping his feelings to himself, but he is also getting consumed by his own sorrow. Even though America holds a fear of Russia and his aura, he still has sympathy for the lonely nation. Therefore, he decides to help the nation and slowly develop a bond to heal the Russian's damaged heart. Little did America know that his sympathy and kindness would lead him down a harrowing love triangle between his closest ally, and a sunflower that has just blossomed.
